About the Candidate

Hi I’m Zack. I am a highly motivated and reliable team member, adept at handling responsibilities both within a team and as an individual. I am known for my organisation and resourcefulness, as well as committing to delivering the best results. I am a musician by heart, as well as someone who loves working behind the scenes controlling the lights, using the mixing desks and just being a part of every event out there, be it a festival, wedding or a live performance on stage, playing guitar or bass. I’m very passionate about music, I even went to Bludfest 2024 with my sister which was awesome and I’d love to work on events like that.

APA Live Lighting engineer/Sound Engineer and Roadia

I managed heavy equipment and operated lighting and mixing desks, as well as installing electronics such as speakers and desks.
Furthermore, I organised the warehouse inventory and went all different jobs across the UK, from setting up a couple of speakers for a Harrods event, to taking down wooden structures and equipment for a Givenchy perfume, to installing and removing a stage for an Indian wedding in Chelmsford.

September 2021-December 2022
New Vision Effects (NVE) Co-Director/Engineer/Sales Director

I worked with my friend who owned this company, helping with the running of the company itself, as well as helping to bring in a variety of different customers for different events. I did this through social media and other online platforms.
From here I also setup marquees for weddings, parties and garden events, including the use of lighting, sound and flooring for many events.
I also maintained the warehouse organisation and proper storage of equipment, making it easier to get equipment packed away and being able to take it out for the next event.

Volunteer work for Chipperfield Village Hall Lighting Technician Experience

In this volunteering experience, I was responsible for designing lighting scenes for a pantomime production in the village hall in Chipperfield. Here I controlled an old school lighting desk during rehearsals and performances and I was shown how to setup the equipment, as well as how to change the colours and using the dimmers to change the different brightness of certain lights, where needed
