Scott Russell

About Me

A highly motivated Engineering graduate working in the technical side of the events industry, looking to take the next step in my career and work on a variety of exciting productions in an environment that allows me to develop my skills further. My main interest is in lighting with my ultimate career goal to become a lighting designer for large music events. I have a huge love for music and the arts and I am excited to learn more about my passion.

I studied MEng Aerospace Engineering at the University of Leicester, graduating with a first class grade in July 2022. During my course I became particularly intersted in aerodynamics and CFD. Upon completing my studies I decided to take a different path and pursue a personal interest of mine, a career in the live events industry, with a focus on lighting. I began my career in events at FIX8Group, spending 18 months working on a rich variety of weird and wonderful audio visual projects. I am now looking for a new challenge that will allow me to continue down my chosen path in the events industry.
