About Me

I would love to work for your company because I have been running my own gigs with my band for up to 5 years now and I run events and open mics for other musicians as part of the collective I run. I have learnt so much from doing these side projects and volunteering at a venue and running the door for my friend’s gigs and I would love to take all my organisational, social media, marketing and promotional skills into this role. To support this, I have been studying song writing since the age of 16 as a diploma and now a degree and have gained multiple touring, events management, business and artist liaison skills from my studies.

I have an immense passion for live music and my life is practically resolved around live music events and recorded music as it’s always been my passion- seeing people turn up to a gig and have an unforgettable time. I am a musician myself and a classically trained guitarist (which I have studied since the age of 9 years old) so I understand the workings of the music industry and can help artists on the night of the event with any instrument/sound queries.

I have worked festivals on the bar and event management side and I am used to long working hours. Also I have organised a lot of my own events and gigs for my band and also I have worked at a festival as an assistant events manager.  I have a great passion for music and have experience event managing, organising gigs and therefore booking acts for several years now as I run my own events projects alongside my degree. I have a good eye for what music suits each event and acts that have potential. I would love to work for your company as I love customer service and helping people. I am a very friendly, sociable person and enjoy organising and communicating with people. I have bartending, hospitality, customer service and sales experience now for nearly 3 years and I am very self-motivated and love working as part of a team. Most of my experience is as a team member in customer facing roles and as a team leader on a bar. From all this experience, I have a strong passion for upselling and sales and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, I am very organised, diary and list-driven and I enjoy admin and planning for myself and others.

I think a combination of all these skills, makes me a great candidate for the role as I have experience in a range of job roles and backgrounds. I am also used to working long hours, late nights and weekends and I am very flexible with my time and I can ensure you I would put my all into this job.
