About the Candidate

My name is Dan Searley, I am a Lighting Designer/Prog/Op from Bournemouth, Dorset.

I have spent the past seven years working my way into and up in this industry to become the best version of myself that I can possibly be, I have spent 4 of the seven years, working in professional theatre and I used to freelance.

I have a variety of experience in the live entertainments industry, working in and at different types of venues, events, and functions.

My experience is mainly (but not limited to); Theatre, Concert, Touring, Festivals and Corporate in the capacity of a general technician & lighting designer.

I also have experience in the following:

–       Event Management

–       Pyrotechnic & SFX Experience

–       Event Controller

–       Supervising a team

–       Admin skills including Microsoft office

I have experience in theatre which ranges from Lighting, Sound, Flying, & basic Stage Management. I would be more than happy to give references and outline experience that I have completed with individuals and companies.
