STORM is a busy technical event company, working with many financial corporate clients. We operate from one main warehouse as well as other smaller storage spaces in Peterborough, delivering events to mainly London based clients but others nationwide. We produce all aspects of the event from the technical kit and staging through to bespoke printing and stage elements.

Key aspects of the role include:
Inventory Management:
Using inventory software and barcode scanning to track equipment
Conduct scheduled stock checks to ensure accuracy
Preparing equipment:
Assist in the preparation and de-preparation of equipment for each event
Unloading vehicles returning to the warehouse
Organisational Skills:
Working to maintain a well-organised warehouse to facilitate easy access to equipment
Working to assigned tasks that have been planned by line manager
Safety Procedures:
Follow safety protocols and guidelines for warehouse operations
Use appropriate safety equipment and encourage a culture of safety among colleagues
Communication:
Communicate effectively with team members and the wider production and logistics teams
Report any issues, discrepancies, or damages promptly
Equipment Handling:
Learn to operate and maintain warehouse equipment
Working Hours:
40 hrs a week with 20 days holiday
You will be expected to work on a shift system covering early morning or evening shift patterns – this will vary from week to week
Semi-regular weekend work
Overtime will be paid pro rata
Competitive Salary with opportunity to earn between £7.00 to £10.00 per hour depending on age and experience plus overtime.
