Event Concept have an opportunity for a Production Manager to join our team. In this role you’ll be supervising and coordinating the production elements of an event, from conception to execution. You are a hands-on technical manager, working across Lighting, Audio, Video, Scenic, Rigging and Power Distribution and taking responsibility for the overall physical delivery of an event.

You have a good working knowledge of lighting, audio, video, power, rigging, and scenic delivery to support our Technical & Scenic Project Managers.
You have experience working in a wide range of project types and sectors such as live shows, conferences, private events, exhibitions, brand activations, and roadshows.
You have a good awareness of health and safety both in pre-production and on-site project phases, with the ability to champion this to other team members.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Quoting, Pitching & Proposals

Collaborating with Client Servicesand Producers in the production and delivery of proposals and pitches for projects.  Ensuring that responses are both technically and commercially feasible.
Working with Client Services and Producers to support them and offer solutions and ideas for efficient and profitable delivery.
Provide guidance and sign-off on estimated figures, event budgets, and production quotations. Ensuring that all ballparking that is provided as part of a pitch or proposal process has been feasibility-checked.
Acting as an internal contact for the Client Services and projects teams for new projects, taking client briefs and assisting in qualifying new e
All of the above will apply to both relevant direct to client projects, and projects that run through the Client Services team.
Delivery

Overseeing the delivery of medium-scale production.
Ensuring that quality, accuracy and efficiency are delivered on all of your projects.
Working in collaboration with our Technical and Scenic Project Management teams to ensure seamless delivery of medium-scale projects.
On projects where you are the lead Production Manager that have come directly into the Production Management Team acting as the primary client contact, playing the role of Client Services and ensuring the commercial viability of your projects.
Ensuring timely, competitive, and accurate responses to the Client Services & the Projects Team across all project phases/milestones.
Promote collaboration,communication, and process enhancement between Creative, Production, Project, Operations, Logistics and Client Services teams at all stages of a project.
Monitor the progress of projects involving physical production, ensuring company processes are followed and that all relevant milestones are met in pre-production.
Collaborate with and support where required, other members of the Production Management Team.
Responsible for relevant third-party production supplier (Technical and Scenic) research, vetting and due diligence, ensuring our supplier database is accurate, updated and that any required supplier competency assessment is carried out.
Responsible for management and oversight of accurate and timely crewing and transport scheduling on your projects.
Process & Governance

Responsible for reconciliation on projects, ensuring costs are allocated in R2 and that any additional charges to clients are communicated in a timely manner to the relevant internal stakeholders.
Responsible for generation and management of Event Safety Plans, RAMS, plans, build schedules, and project packs on your Production jobs.
Ensure that in carrying out all day-to-day responsibilities, our policies and procedures and are observed.
