EC has an opportunity for a Junior Technical Project Manager to join our team. In this role, reporting to one of our Senior Technical Project Managers, you’ll support the technical delivery of projects. You would be based in our London office and then supporting event delivery in some of the most iconic venues in London along with the rest of the UK. Who are you?
- You have some experience or knowledge of the live events industry in a technical or production support role.
- You have some knowledge of event technology, including audio, video and lighting with the ability to create basic kit lists.
- You don’t get phased under pressure, you’re the consummate professional. Even when something isn’t going quite according to plan, you remain calm and get the situation sorted
- You are a team player with a flexible, enthusiastic approach.
- You have good verbal and written communication skills and can communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients.
- You have an awareness of health and safety considerations within the events industry, including risk assessments.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Working with our production teams to provide technical support and quotations.
- Liaising between the Technical, Production, Operations and Warehouse Teams at all times to create a streamlined project flow.
- Producing equipment lists, technical plans, and other relevant documents for events.
- Represent EC at site meetings and client visits alongside our Technical Project Managers
- Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders in the event of any changes or additional requests throughout the project.
- Searching for & purchasing orders for non-stock items.
- Assist with producing event RAMS, through collating information from internal departments or liaising with external subcontractors.
- Assist with departmental project admin as necessary to ensure the smooth running of projects such as expenses and tracking purchase orders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to improve our technical processes.
- Ensure all technical elements adhere to health and safety regulations.
