Trainee Hire Account Coordinator – Events Industry
Niclen UK is an event equipment dry hire service providing lighting, audio, rigging and video to professional users.
Based: Niclen UK HQ – Unit 5, Crest Distribution Park, Crest Road, High Wycombe. HP11 1UA ( From October)
The opportunity: To be an integral part of our growing sales team, with huge growth potential. This role has a wide range of development opportunities and scope for growth in both position and salary. Often being the first person to speak to our clients, and supporting multiple customer’s projects at a time this is a busy client facing role giving you exposure to all sorts of businesses in the industry.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
· Provide accurate, timely and competitive quotes to our clients.
· Keeping client information current including addresses and new contact names.
· Accurately communicate with all clients, making sure that NicLen UK is professionally represented.
· Ensure that all customers receiving quotes are contacted for post quote/ hire feedback in a personal and professional manner.
· Reach out to hire accounts, that haven’t been in contact in the last 6 months.
· Keep a record of customer requirements that we can’t fulfil.
· Effectively manage customer expectations.
· Stay up to date with the relevant technology and have a good understanding of the products you are working with.
· Help build a sub-hire network for regularly hired equipment.
· Attend regular team meetings to share your findings.
Person Specification:
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· An ability to problem solve independently.
· To work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
· Highly motivated.
· A positive “can-do” attitude.
· Adaptability and the ability to transfer knowledge with both our team and customers.
· Ability to comply with the company’s policies and codes of conduct.
· Computer literate.
· Willingness to travel and occasional work unsocial hours.
· Be a good team player.
· Demonstrate loyalty and commitment to NicLen UK and all team members.
· Full UK driving licence (Ideally).
· Polite, professional, organized and focus.
· Able to multi-task.
· Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
Desirable though not essential:
· A technical knowledge of the products that NicLen owns and uses.
· Working understanding of the event production, dry-hire, theatre/broadcast industries
· Experience of using a CRM software/inventory booking system
Hours: . Monday – Friday 8.30am-5.30pm (some flexibility).
Salary range: dependent on skills and experience. Plus workplace pension.
Terms: This is a permanent full-time post
The offer is subject to a probation period of 6 months and a successful DBS check.
Holiday entitlement for full-time employees is 22 days per annum plus bank holidays.
