Product Engineer, Pro lighting

Our client, a leading global provider of professional lighting products and solutions, is in search of an experienced lighting technician and product engineer to oversee their product engineering and evaluation team conducting comprehensive product design and quality evaluations.

This role entails assessing various aspects including optics, electronics, electrical safety, thermal management, mechanical safety, design robustness, physical dimensions, software compatibility, and packaging considerations. Additionally, the product engineer will be tasked with conducting tests, diagnosing faults in existing products, and delivering product training to colleagues.

Collaborating closely with the product development engineering and manufacturing teams, the successful candidate will assist in evaluating, testing, and reporting on new product prototypes. Their expertise in professional entertainment lighting products will be instrumental in ensuring the continued success of products in the market. Attention to detail, a strong grasp of electronics and mechanics, and the ability to identify areas for enhancement are key for this role, as is the ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
