About Me

Hello!

My name is Shaunagh, and my desire to continually learn and grow has equipped me with a toolbox of skillsets in a variety of different disciplines that I hope to put to the test in a new and challenging adventure!

I have over 10 years experience in the theatre scene in a spectrum of roles from; performer, writer, director and stage manager – to stage hand, costumes, set & props designer – Yes, I love theatre! So much so, that I dedicated 10 years of my life to creating accessible, affordable and professional theatre opportunities for young people aged between 4 – 25 years, through my own theatre company.

Workshop development and delivery is where I have most recently sat and over the last 2 and a half years I have been delivering the outreach programme I created, specifically tailored to raise awareness and aspirations for the Live Events Sector. Gone are the days of death by power point presentations – the programme put the students at the heart of our industry, exposing them to the industry through interactive and immersive practice.

What about events and project management I hear you cry! – Yup, got those covered too. Throughout my role of outreach and events officer I have managed, assisted and co-ordinated a number of onsite events at Production Park. From Open Days, Graduations, full scale immersive experiences for the local community to corporate and external events for clients such as Production Futures! I have experience of managing and co-ordinating teams, sticking to budgets, a sprinkling of technical knowledge and I’m a stickler for sticking to time scales.

My passion for the creative industries is a driving force in my work, I’m a self-motivated, organised and committed individual who can work independently or equally as part of a team, and usually with a giggle along the way. My jazz hands can be tamed, but you should be warned – I may breakout into show tunes!

I’m seeking a new adventure where I can utilise my skillsets to grow and learn, and in turn inspire others – hopefully through creative outlet.

I should probably also mention I won the Production Futures  ‘Employee of the Year’ Breakthrough Talent Award 2023 – a very proud achievement!
