About the Candidate

Hello! My name is Maria Olinda and I have been looking for entertainment opportunities so I’m very content that I found this one. Studying Management and moving to Tokyo to do an internship at The Ritz Carlton Tokyo, which is a moment that I’m very proud of, and then working at a cruise ship, makes me feel I should finally give myself a bigger challenge and get closer to my true passions. I consider myself qualified for this position because I believe I can contribute to enrich the company and, at the same time, receive from it and grow up.

The first belief is due to the combination of my latest international experiences and my performing arts education. I do have a great experience in volunteering, studying and working abroad in different fields of work and in distinctive countries. Those experiences made me develop my self motivation, adaptability to different cultures and types of management, working in international teams, and being decisive. I discovered I’m a people person that enjoys engaging with people and events. I also had the opportunity to learn Spanish and Japanese. To complement, my Boy Scout experience was also a pillar on the definition of my personality and put me in an upper level of conflict management, resolution of problems and to assume responsibilities in a “ I can” perspective. In addition, I’m an art lover and I currently keep working on my acting, musical and dancing skills which have always made me feel comfortable to do public presentations, be disciplined and aware of my body and voice. Finally, I have taken part in a few volunteering adventures that awakened me to empathy or social attitudes by, for example, following a kid with ADHD.

In parallel, I feel I can earn from being hired. In my life I have noticed that I have flourished myself when challenging abroad because I always absorb knowledge and mature. Nevertheless, I feel that now I know better what I really like and want to do, that is working with Art and People.

With all of this being said, right now I believe that it makes sense for me to apply for this job opportunity and that I would be a great choice.
