Hi, I’m Charlie Rawlinson, originally from Sheffield and now based in London. I’m an enthusiastic and reliable individual with a strong background in practical, hands-on roles. My experience spans various environments, from screen printing and property management to studio assistance, where I’ve developed solid time management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced settings. I hold a degree in Graphic Design, enjoy cycling and climbing, and am eager to bring my positive attitude and versatile skill set to new opportunities.

Experience
A screen-print technician operates printing machines, prepares screens, mixes inks, and ensures accurate, high-quality prints on various materials. Key tasks include managing inventory, maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and meeting deadlines with precision and attention to detail.
In a hands-on maintenance role for a heritage building, I managed tenant care, administration, and heavy lifting, developing strong time management skills and the ability to work independently. I efficiently handled tasks and responded to on-site emergencies, taking on handyman responsibilities as needed. Additionally, as an in-house graphic designer for the same heritage studio, I maintained the company’s visual identity by designing and updating social media and print content, ensuring all materials reflected the property’s historical significance.
A practical hands role where I have been working as a studio hand on large scale sculpture pieces. Developing my own set of practical art skills, the importance in cooperation in time sensitive work and supporting to help produce artwork coming to life.
At APG Works, Sheffield framing and screen printing studio, a UI/UX designer – web developer role. I also supported artist prints and workshop days, using my graphic design experience.
At Bowland Stone, I disassembled solidified concrete crates using tools and equipment, and arranged slabs on pallets for efficient transport. This required precision in handling heavy materials, adherence to production standards, and ensuring proper pallet stacking for safe transport. The role demanded technical attention to safety protocols, equipment use, and maintaining efficiency under tight deadlines.
I worked in an artisan studio at the Chocolate Factory, specialising in bespoke screen printing, where I learned studio operations, met client needs, and maintained cleanliness.
